BRING DA NOISE! help our common dreams to keep on! warm appeal of Grey / Mystic Bytes ----------------------------------------------------------------- -- - --- ---- "Time goes by, so slowly, so slowly" - sang Madonna, straightening her skin on hanging hunkers once again. :-) Guys! Let's face the truth, we are real survivors, dreamers, part of the legend! Everyone of us has his own memories relating to our beloved Atari machines. Most of us can't imagine that somehow, someday, suddenly it could be over. And it's so easy to understand! For me Atari is part of my life, I grew up with it, I met many interesting people who shared the same passion. But reality is cruel! We are still here, in spite of a growing 'technological abyss' between our Ataris and overpowered PeeZees. If we want to survive another decade we need to close up the ranks! And what's the best way to do it? Common ground meetings at Atari parties, we can't let these events die! Easter Atari parties became a tradition. Can you imagine the Falcon scene without 'Fried Bits' for example? Thanx to this great party, we were the witnesses of outstanding Falcon releases. The bird was flyin' above the clouds mercilessly dropping sh*ts on the developing PeeZee ocean. Without 'Fried Bits' it would have been impossible! Internet access wasn't that available in the 90s, and such events were the salvation for all Falcon fanatics! This tradition has been continued up till OutLine 2005 in Holland. But suddenly something started to go wrong. 'OutLine 2005' didn't gather so many attendees, and the organizers declined to do another edition of their party for next Easter. After this sad news there was a deep silence. Everyone had been counting on 'OutLine' becoming the replacement for the famous 'Error in Line" in Germany... At some point, rumours came up about a possible party in Sweden or France. But nothing got further than the "plans" stage. There was no-one brave enough to take it over and shout out "OK! WE'LL TAKE IT OVER!". Time was going by, none knew if the traditional Atari party on Easter was going to happen somewhere or not... Suddenly, the terrible silence was finally broken! There was a sudden 'NOISE' from Slovakia! MiKRO, Xi, Jookie and Baky took affairs into their hands and decided to throw us the rescue-line! The news about a forthcoming Easter Party in Slovakia was very well-received, but, something went wrong again and enthusiasm was shrinking a bit. I know that for many of you this distance is so hard to conquer, and there are other things in life. I am not sure if I will be able to attend Noise either, but I am trying to make it a reality! Don't forget it's our usual meeting held on Easter, guys! Support it as much as you can, even if you are not able to be present at the party itself! Show our respect for the organizers who decided to take a risk, just to help our dreams keepin' going! . ... :::: Open Your notepad and pute these words! :::: ... .
