Thanks and Greetings! This is the perfect moment to say a small hello and thanks to those people who made this special edition a reality. Also to say "Hi!" to the wider scene in general. CiH - December 2012.
Felice - He was the one who had the idea for doing a one-off with the disused and unused articles, going back as far as the perpetually promised but never released Alive 15 issue. He wanted to do this as a Maggie issue, but I've got other longer term ambitions for that famous name. (Big spoiler! You will hear more in due course.) So Mag! it became. He has contributed some articles, and is *hopefully* working on an ST Maggie shell based version of this publication. (I'm not really sure, he's not a big believer in maintaining regular contact through email!) So some of you should be reading this there! Evil - Apart from contributing his omnipresence through the Dead Hackers Atari scene portal www.dhs.nu and releasing the high concept Atari STE demo 'Drone' last summer, he kindly took time out to communicate with me prior to the release of this issue of Mag! Hope things go well for you in the future mate! Orion and Grey - Who have both been in touch with several interesting things to tell. Also both have a solid achievement record for 2012, with the cool adventure game 'Elsansar' and the SV2K12 party respectively. Be seeing you both there!
Havoc - For a memorable cameo appearance at the Sundown party in Budleigh Salterton, last September. But especially for his almost last minute bringing into being of an epic autumnal Outline Party in October! Hope the new house is working out! DML aka Doug Little - One of the most welcome and enjoyable returns to the Atari scene. Doug Little, Pixel Twins, Apex Media, Black Scorpion and all that stuff. He has lots of plans, some of them could turn out to be awesome. Welcome back! Dal - Better known through Atari Forum, his CT60 Falcy is alive and well and living in my cave now! Hope it's going well with the stage piano that replaced it! Honkey and Nuey - As well as being extremely nice people to meet in three dimensional flesh generally at Sundown and Outline. I have fond memories of their culinary skills, so does my heartburn! (Baarp!) Nerve - It was really great to catch up with you at Outline this year. I'm glad to hear of your additional family member (Wasn't one of those enough?!) And I hope you can get back to us sometime, especially with the unreleased stuff! Mr Coke - Another welcome return to the Atari scene. We look forward to your company at future parties and more cool coding feats! Cal and Grazey - The lyrical masters themselves! Great to see you back at Outline too. Beetle - Missed seeing you at any party this year. However, major thanks for sorting out the Planet Hively conundrum. CTPCI demos are here! Checkpoint - A group greeting, as lots of great stuff already in the last twelve months, and more to come shortly! Dune/Sector One - Especially Chuck - The Froggies presence at any party delights us all. Thanks for all the stuff down the years and especially the Antiques demo for this year. PeP - Great company at last year's Sillyventure. What about getting that new ZX Spectrum emulator done now? :-) All the other people, alive, dead, doing interesting things - I said I would keep this greetings text short, right? Well if you haven't been specifically name-checked before now, it's not because I don't love you. It's a heartening testament to the fact there are SO MANY of you out there! Keep well, and all the best. CiH - for Mag! - Dec 2012
